We (Colin and Donna-Lee) bought our Mayan Resorts timeshare during one of our first family vacations to the Riviera Maya. The benefits of not just 'escaping the ordinary', but also the value of time share ownership became a part of our retirement plan.

Although we also enjoy our all inclusive Palace Resorts membership we purchased our Mayan Resorts time share that allows us to more fully experience the local restaurants as opposed to the all inclusive resorts.
